Nancy Lou Atwood, 79, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of General Electric and member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Virgil Lee Shockley and Lucy Etta Driver Shockley and wife of the late Paul Cleo Atwood, Sr

She is survived by 2 sons: William Gordon Carver and Paul Atwood, Jr. and wife, Debbie, both of Scottsville, KY; 3 daughters: Pamela Duke Smith and husband, Greg; Sandy Lou Hawks and husband, Rob and Laura Steel and husband, John, all of Scottsville, KY; 1 step son: Richard Jones and wife, Delores, Brownsville, KY; 1 sister: Judy Jones, Scottsville, KY; 9 grandchildren: Hillary Brooke Carver, Emily Lynn Duke, Kim Smith, Dustin Wilkerson, Dale Shivers, Savannah Shivers, Lesley Atwood, Josh Atwood and Richie Jones 9 great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Tom Shockley, Robert Shockley and Billy Shockley; 2 sisters: Susie Carver and Shirley Adams. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Huff officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
