OBITUARY Nancy Margaret Wesselman-Simunich July 27, 1938 – January 20, 2019 Nancy Margaret Wesselman-Simunich, 80, passed away on Sunday January 20, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon. She was born on July 27, 1938 in Modoc, IL, the daughter of the late William and Stella (Galloway) Houston. Nancy married Robert Wesselman in Belleville.

He preceded her in death in 1997. She later married Daniel J. Simunich in Texas. He survives.

She worked for over thirty years as the manager of Bank of America in Belleville, seeing the bank change companies eight different times. She was a member of Belleville 1st church of the Nazarene and the senior center in Smithton. In addition to her husband Daniel, she is survived by a son Dennis and wife Katrina Wesselman of North Carolina; four step children Danny Simunich, Merry Miller, Jimmy Joe and wife Renee Simunich, and Timmy Simunich; sister Shirley Bonnette; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Robert; three sisters and a brother. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 24, 2019 from 1pm until the time of funeral service at 3 pm at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights. Cremation rites have been accorded and will follow services.

Burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights at a later date. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
