Obituary of Nancy Barron 1 Nancy Ann (Jackson) Barron, 75, a resident of Pleasant Ridge Manor, passed away there on Tuesday June 5, 2018, following a prolonged illness. She was born in Erie on October 27, 1942 a daughter of the late Paul E. and Henrietta Ida (Kutz) Jackson Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, David Jackson and her aunt and uncle, George and Naomi Purchase. Nancy graduated from the Hamot School of Nursing, she worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Vincent Hospital, St. Mary’s Home and Lutheran Home.

She enjoyed knitting and was a former member of the Erie Zoological Society. She is survived by three children, Julia A. Barron, Eileen B. (Barron) Fitzpatrick and Thomas M. (Deborah) Barron Jr.; one sister, Joyce (Stan) Yopek; one brother, Paul E. Jackson Jr.; three grandchildren, James A. Barron, Andrea Barron, Gabriella Barron, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, numerous cousins and her former husband Thomas M. Barron Sr. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 3:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 PM.

Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either, Pleasant Ridge Manor, 8300 West Ridge Rd. Fairview, PA 16415 or the Erie Zoological Society, 423 West 38th St. PO Box 3268 Erie, PA 16508.
