Naomi “Sue” Keim, age 52, of Preston, MN died Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. Marys Campus – Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, surrounded by her family. Funeral Mass for Naomi Keim will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. Columban Church in Preston, MN with Father Edward McGrath officiating. Burial will be in St. Liguori Catholic Cemetery following the service.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Preston, MN and will continue at the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Naomi Sue Keim was born January 27, 1966, daughter of Patrick and Bonnie (Engelhardt) O’Connor in Spring Valley, MN. Sue was a 1984 graduate from Southland High School in Adams, MN.

On August 21, 1999, she was united in marriage to Nathan Keim. Sue is described by family as being “stubborn as a mule and sweet as honey” and “full of beauty and talent”. She was intelligent, quick witted, and very independent.

This was reflected throughout her life in the jobs and hobbies she had. Sue did anything from working at QPP, truck driving, farming, bookkeeping, attending cosmetology school, and more recently selling all varieties of in-home business items, especially leggings. She enjoyed pampering herself by having her hair and nails done.

She loved dogs, especially the “outcast” breeds. Sue’s pride and joy were her grandchildren. She loved being their Grammy and spending time with them.

Sue is survived by her husband Nathan Keim of Preston, MN; her son Branden (Megan) O’Connor of Harmony, MN, and their children Haven, JaxynMae, and Reigny, her daughter Allyson (Ben) Klankowski of Austin, MN, and their children Morgan, Madeline, Marlie, Mya, and Mariah; father Patrick M. O’Connor of Dexter, MN; mother Bonnie (Englehardt) O’Connor of Lime Springs, IA; maternal grandmother Violet “Lollie” Fairbanks of Lime Springs, IA, her siblings Patricia (Mark) Maas of Brownsdale, MN, Michael O’Connor of Elkton, MN, Patrick (Lori) O’Connor of Farmington, MN, Phillip (Diane) O’Connor of Dexter, MN, and Jackie (Shane) O’Connor-Hendrix of Byron, MN, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved dogs Shelby, Toby, and Rooska. She is preceded in death by her nephew and Godson Michael O’Connor-Hendrix on September 11, 2018. Online condolences may be left at www.
