OBITUARY Nathan Robert Bray February 27, 1988 – November 18, 2018 Nathan Robert Bray, 30, of Rockford passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Born February 27, 1988 in Beloit, Wisconsin. Son of David Bray and Jan Boozell.

Nate was a true artist who found his passion in tattooing. He found enjoyment in fishing, skate boards, four wheeling and dirt bikes. Nate was the life of the party who had the loudest most contagious laugh.

He was a lover of all kinds of music. Above all he was the proudest of his kids. Survived by his mom, Jan (Erik) Boozell; father, David Bray; children, Jaden Bray, Miya Bray, Gunnar Bray, Xander Bray, Laila Sims; special friend, Amanda Sedrick; siblings, Erik C. Boozell, Kess Boozell, Kylie Boozell, Sarah (Kerry) Hall, Aaron (Ray) Bray; special aunt and 2nd mom, Dee Bunker; aunts, Kay (Bob) Somers, Barb (Dennis) McCann; uncle, James (Susan) Bunker; Nana, Judy Boozell; numerous friends too many to list.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 23 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Visitation at 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family for Nate’s children. A Celebration of Nate’s life will continue after the Memorial Service at Cronie’s Bar at 9032 N. 2nd St, Machesney Park.
