Ned Eugene Gracie, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at his home. Born on January 5, 1934, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Robert and Lucinda (Parker) Gracie. In addition to his parents, Ned was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla (Coleman) Gracie; brothers, Robert Gracie, Jr., Richard Gracie and James Gracie, and sisters; Edna Beeman, Edith Norris, Helen Filer and Eleanor Hare; and son Robert Kinney.

Ned was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Liberty Christian Fellowship in Cresaptown where he did brick work on the church. He was a handyman and jack of all trades, specializing in home construction and worked with Ed Wright Construction.

Surviving are brother Earl “Sonny” Gracie; daughters, Debbie Smith and Margaret Gracie; son, Thomas Kinney; sister-in-law, Ilda Green; brother-in-law, Gary Coleman; grandsons, Teddy Davis, William Gardner, and Austin Gardner; numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Gracie was cremated.
