Obituary for Neil “Tub” E. McCampbell Neil “Tub” Edward McCampbell, age 85, of New Market, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. He was a loving father, grandfather; and a friend to many. He was a retired loader operator in local zinc mining operations and a member of McCampbell’s United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death in death by his wife, Pearl Sharp McCampbell; parents, James A. and Nannie Goforth McCampbell; sister, Wilma Petty; brothers, Lee and Kenneth McCampbell; son-in-law, Rick McMillan; and nephew, Charlie Ray Sharp. He is survived by by his daughters, Sheila (Bill) Cochran and Veronica McMillan; grandchildren, Scott and Heather Cochran, Alisha (Allen) Huffaker, Kevin McMillan; great-grandchildren, Kelcea and Kaleb Cochran, Brandon Wright, Billy Strange; Mason Huffaker; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley and Kamryn; special friend and companion, Virginia Willard; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregivers, Rebecca, Lacy, Lucy; and Smoky Mountain Hospice, during the course of his illness.

Funeral service 7:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Fielden Chapel with Brother Johnny Franklin and Rev. Caroline Goddard officiating. Interment 11:00 AM Friday in McCampbell’s United Methodist Church Cemetery.
