Nekhama “Nina” Kolb, 95, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Village Shalom. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, May 3, 2019 at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. , Kansas City, MO 64131 with burial to follow in Mt.

Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Congregation Ohev Sholom, general funds. Nekhama was born on April 22, 1924 to the late Yakov and Hanah (Chernis) Ostrovskiy near Kiev, Ukraine.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Kolb. Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Anna Friedman and husband Josef, Natan Kolb and wife Alexandra; and grandchildren: Alex Kolb, Michael Kolb, Sasha Friedman and Shella Friedman.
