Neldine W Ohrt February 20, 1926 – March 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Neldine W. Ohrt, 93, of Meyersville passed away Monday, March 25, 2019. She was born February 20, 1926 in Meyersville to the late John and Margaret (Maggie) Stahl Diebel. She married B.C. (Cotton) Ohrt on April 23, 1943 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Meyersville.

Neldine was a loving wife, wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family and cherished the time spent and memories made with them. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Arneckeville, a member of the Alter Guild at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Meyersville and a certified nurse’s aide at Cuero Nursing Home and Cuero Hospital.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Phillip) Hoefling of Meyersville, Chris (Kenneth) Buenger of Cuero, and Jolene Wieland of Yorktown; son, Dean (Kay) Ohrt of Victoria; grandchildren, Shane, Ashley and Casey Hoefling, Jason, Patrick and Jared Ohrt, Courtney Kubesch, Kelli Schley, Kassie Rath, Kendall Buenger, Travis & Bradley Wieland and LaRae Kelley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, B.C. Ohrt; her parents; son in law, Troy Wieland; and daughter in law Patty Ohrt. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27, 2019, 5 to 7 pm at Freund Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019, 10 am at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Kirchner and Pastor Eric Petty officiating. Interment to follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Meyersville.

Pallbearers include Jason Ohrt, Patrick Ohrt, Shane Hoefling, Ashley Hoefling, Kendall Buenger, Travis Wieland and Bradley Wieland. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Ohrt, Casey Hoefling, Courtney Kubesch, Kelli Schley, Kassie Rath, LaRae Kelley and Wilburn & Marilyn Oehlke. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bluebonnet Youth Ranch, Zion Lutheran Church or Hospice of South Texas.
