Nella’s Obituary Nella Faye Williams, age 78 of Etowah, departed this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Etowah. Born in Monroe County to the late Dee and Flora Alice Watson, she had lived a majority of her life in McMinn County and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She retired from the original Scottie’s Restaurant after 30 plus years and loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Doyle Williams; siblings, Betty Milsaps, David Watson, Ray Watson, and Bobby Watson. Survivors include her children, Denise (Ronnie) Raper and Marvin Dee Williams; grandchildren, Dustin Raper, Nicholas Raper, amd Mandy Williams; siblings Jane (Bobby Dailey, Walter (Brenda) Watson, and Harriel(Jewel) Watson. A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Nella Faye Watson Williams will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 11, 2019 with her son=in-law, Ronnie Raper officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bill Perian, Eric Brackner, Jason Knox, Donnie Milsaps, Quay Loveday, and Kenny Carver. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
