Batesburg-Services for Nelle Epting Rinehart, 88, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Wittenberg Lutheran Church with the Rev. Emily Edenfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to Wittenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund P. O. Box 3447 B-L, SC 29070. Mrs. Rinehart passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

Born in Leesville, she was the daughter of the late Thompson Earle and Carrie Shealy Epting. She gradated in 1947 as salutatorian from Batesburg-Leesville High. Mrs. Rinehart was a lifetime member of Wittenberg Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for 40 years and was in the Morning Circle Group.

She worked at Batesburg Building Supply and retired from Hartley Construction Company. Surviving are her husband, Boddie Rinehart; son, Russell Rinehart; brother, Marvin Epting. She was predeceased by brothers, Everette, Vivian, James, and Leon Epting.
