Obituary for Nellie Mae Cagle (Green) Nellie Mae (Green) Cagle, age 89, of Walland, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the family home. Nellie worked as a housekeeper at both Blount Memorial and UT Hospitals for many years. She worked as a caregiver afterwards.

Ms. Cagle was a loving and devoted mother, never complaining of her own ailments. She was also a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cagle, Sr.; parents, Willie and Grace Green; daughter, Linda Sue Herron; son, Richard Samuel Cagle; brother, Isaac Green; sisters, Ila Garner, Willie Jean Miller; grandson, Randy Cagle.

Survivors include her sons, James (Jeannie) Cagle Jr., Carlos (Cathie) Cagle, all of Walland; daughters, Joyce Burton of Walland, Mary (Jay) White of Sevierville; sister, Lucille Green of Walland; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. Special thanks to Edna Sweet for her care. Funeral Ceremony will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel with the Rev.

Wayne ton, officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Cold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at Dotson Funeral Home.
