Nellie Rice of Bethany, Oklahoma was born June 18, 1943 in Shady Grove, Oklahoma to William Washington Wood and Anna (Sanders) Wood. She passed away January 18, 2019 at her home in Bethany, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years and 7 months. She grew up in the Stratford area and graduated from Stratford High School with the class of 1960.

She worked in management of Sinclair retail services. She moved to Bethany, in 1973. She was also a member of the Portland Avenue Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Preceded by; her parents, one son Shannon Helderman, four brothers; James, Henry, Bob, and William Wood. Survived by; one son Nathan Sharber of Oklahoma City, OK; 6 grandchildren; Rhea Ray, Whitney Wilson, Justin Sharber, Karla Graves, Jason Graham, and Carrie Graham. 16 great-grandchildren.

Services; 1:00 PM Tuesday January 22, 2019 at DeArman/Pickard Chapel Stratford, Oklahoma. Officiating; Rev. Earl Hood.
