BRAINTREE – Nestor P. Cruz, 85, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on May 31st, 2018. He was born on February 16th, 1933 in Manilla. He was the son of Pablo Cruz and his wife, Vicenta Pineda, both of Manilla.

He was a chemical engineer for the Northrop Corporation in Norwood. He was a member of AARP and enjoyed playing internet chess in his spare time. He is survived by his wife, Liza, and his sons, Alx Cruz of Braintree and Amos Cruz and his wife, Nancy, of Wrentham.

He also leaves behind, his daughter, Ann and her husband Spyros, of Braintree. He leaves as well, his brothers, Tirso and his wife Norma of Daly City California, Abraham and his wife Marivia of Alanta, and Cesar and his wife Becky of Toronto and Christopher and his wife Venus, of Santa Anna, CA. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Sarah Cruz, Meritt Cruz, Bostony Braoudakis, and Padriac Cruz.

He leaves behind Herminia, his sister in Manilla, Phillipines. Visiting hours will be from 9 AM to 11 AM on June 5th, 2018 at the Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, 02184. A Catholic Prayer service will follow, at the Peck Funeral Chapels, in Braintree, will be officiated by Father Milling, at 11:00 AM.
