Ocala – Nicholas Edward Ludwig, 77, passed away peacefully at home to meet the Lord on May 18, 2018. Born to Joseph William Ludwig and Rosella Gast on August 14, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville.

He worked for many years as a yacht builder for Broward Marine Shipyard. He is preceded by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilynn Ludwig; sons, Noah Thaneling and David Ludwig; daughter/granddaughter Jordyn Thaneling; brothers, Jospeph Lee Ludwig, Nicholas Edward Ludwig, Kenneth Louis Ludwig, Richard William Ludwig, Gerald Whayne Ludwig, James Mickle Ludwig.
