NICHOLAS J. SUBLER, 70, of Sidney, passed away at 9:48 AM on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born on July 27, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Vernon and Erma (Briggs) Subler. On January 18, 1992 he married the former Vivian Goodykoontz and she survives in Sidney.

Also surviving are three children; Anthony Subler of Rochester, NY, Kristi (Brian) Wiggs of Lakeland, FL, and Nicole Subler of Sidney, 2 step-children, Jamey Deeter and Stephanie Gallimore both of Sidney, ten grandchildren, three step-granchildren and one sister, Cynthia (Michael) Maurer of Sidney. Mr. Subler was graduate of Holy Angels High School and retired from the City of Sidney. He was a life-long member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, a member of the Troy Moose and Public Employees Retirement System.

Nicholas loved to cook almost as much as he did eat. He also enjoyed going fishing in Michigan every year with his cousin and close friends. Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.

Sidney with Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
