Leetonia- Nicholas P. Crookston, age 30, of Leetonia, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run automobile accident in Franklin Square. He was born on February 4, 1988 in Salem, a son of Cindy Jenkins Hill and Douglas Crookston. Nicholas was employed at Envelope 1 in Columbiana.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbi Crookston of Salem; son Thomas Crookston of East Palestine; Mother, Cindy (Richard) Hill of Leetonia; father, Douglas Crookston Sr. of Kissimmee, FL; sister, Angela Nail of New Waterford, and three brothers, Matt Merino of Huston, TX, Shaun Crookston of Negley and Douglas Crookston Jr. of Kissimmee. Per the families wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
