Obituary for Mrs. Nima Doris Thacker Mrs. Nima Doris Thacker age 84, of Keystone Heights passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Thacker was born on January 19, 1934 in Hightower, Alabama to the late Lawrence A. and Lillian (Wheeler) Walker. Nima was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and prior to retirement she worked for the State of Florida University Physicians.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harland L. Thacker, siblings: Billy Walker, Jerry Walker, Jean Pritchett, and Sue Brooks. Survivors are: Daughter, Beverly Thacker Lewis (Andrew) of Sevierville, TN, son, David Thacker (Kara) of Venice, siblings, Nell Smith of Valley, AL and George Walker (Linda) of Carrollton, GA. Also left are her grandchildren: Kristy Thacker, Robert Thacker, Cami Lewis and Connor Lewis.

Private graveside funeral services will be on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Keystone Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105/www. stjude.org or the American Lung Association, 6852 Belfort Oaks Place, Jacksonville, FL 32216/www.
