Obituary for Noble “Bo” L. Smith Jr. Print Noble “Bo” London Smith Jr., longtime resident of Roseville, died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on February 25, 2019. He was 83 years of age. Bo was born on September 1, 1935 in Alexandria, Virginia, son of the late Noble and Mary (Gensmer) Smith Sr

He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Alaska. During this time, he met the love of his life, Priscilla Ann Blackhorn. The couple was united in marriage on April 14, 1962 at First Presbyterian Church of Northville, Michigan.

Their union was blessed with four wonderful sons of whom he loved and cherished. They made their home in Roseville in 1966. Bo worked as a tool and die welder for Chrysler for over 30 years of dedicated service, retiring on October 31, 1996.

He enjoyed golfing whenever he could and loved camping with his family. After his retirement, Bo and Priscilla became “Snowbirds” and enjoyed traveling out west; and spending their winters in Arizona and Texas. Bo never met a stranger and was a loyal man.

He also loved his southern seafood and collecting Pepsi memorabilia. Above all, he was a family man who was a dedicated husband, a supportive father and an adoring grandfather. He will be deeply missed and his light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Bo is the beloved husband of 56 years to Priscilla; cherished father of Noble (Sue), Brion (Lori), Gergory (Gina) and Michael (Traci); proud grandfather of Donald, Brionna, Troy, Easton and Kiara; dear brother of Mary Alice Sullivan and the late Florence Kobleck and Anna Myers; and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Friday 2pm – 8pm and Saturday 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 300 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren, 48092 or to Beaumont Hospice, 1410 E. 14 Mile Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
