Nona Catherine Harter (Bonebrake) passed away peacefully on October 24, 2018 at the William J. Riley Memorial Home in Munster, Indiana. She was born in Clinton, Indiana on March 18, 1940 to Melvin Ray and Pauline Irene (Haley) Bonebrake. She is survived by her children, Michele Griffin, Marilyn Harter and Michael Allen Harter; many grandchildren, a great-grandson and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She worked for many years at Metra Container (formerly Ball Glass Jar Manufacturing). The family will receive friends and family at Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, in Gary, Indiana on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald D. Cooper officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery, 4401 West Ridge Road, in Gary, Indiana. Nona will be dearly missed by her loving family and dear friends. May God Grant Her Eternal Rest.
