Nora (Enright) Murphy, 86, of Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Center for Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains. Born in the Maharees, County Kerry, Ireland, Nora was an overseas and information telephone operator for Bell Atlantic, Elizabeth, and a member of the Hibernian Club of Elizabeth. Mrs. Murphy was the beloved wife of the late Jeremiah “Jerry” Murphy, devoted mother of Maureen Vaccaro of Elizabeth, Eileen Murphy of Iselin, Jeremiah “Jerry” Murphy of Union, Joanne Murphy and her friend Manny Montes, Jr. of Union, Noreen Lennon and her husband Joe of Union Beach, and the late Michael Murphy.

Cherished grandmother of Anthony Vaccaro, Kerry Vaccaro-Avila and her husband Ricky, and Murphy Lennon, great grandmother of Liam Avila. Visiting Tuesday, 3:00-7:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 8:45 am at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. Georges Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew The Apostle R. C. Church, Scotch Plains 10:00 am. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
