Ashburn, Georgia- Norman L. Eltringham, 74, of Cedar Drive passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Tift Regional Medical Center in Ashburn, Georgia at 11:30 pm following a lengthy illness. Born March 2, 1945 at Steubenville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Samuel Shelton and Norma Alwida Hall Eltringham. He was a retired steel worker working for the ATI Steel Plant in Midland, Pennsylvania, who later drove school bus for the Turner County School System.

He loved old cars, especially Studebakers. He is survived by three sons, Walt Eltringham and his wife, Chris of Wellsville, Ohio, Randall Eltringham and his wife, Rayette of Hanoverton, Ohio and Brad Eltringham and his wife, Shawn of Cambridge, Ohio. In addition, he leaves behind his companion, Kathy McCormack at home; and her daughter, Kimberly Kay Allen and her husband, Brian of East Liverpool.

There are eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two loyal pals, Bonnie & Clyde, his dogs. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Elaine Newman; and two brothers, Albert Eltringham and Sam “Bud” Eltringham.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Dirk Hall of The Living Well in Wellsville will officiate a funeral service at 6:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
