Norman Phillip Barr, age 66, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday November 11, 2018. Norman was born April 9, 1952. Norman was a devoted husband to his wife, Peggy of 42 years, loving father, grandfather and brother.

He enjoyed watching Alabama football and golfing. Norman was a member of Smiths Station Baptist Church, and will be missed and loved by all that knew him. Norman is survived by his wife of 42 years, Peggy Barr; daughter Jennifer Kristine Harris; and son-in-law Rick Harris; sister, Kay Chastain; grandson Jake Taylor.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Katie Barr. A celebration of life funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EST Friday, November 16, 2018 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Dr. David Kees officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
