Olamae’s Obituary SULLIVAN, Olamae – Age 80, passed away May 1, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. , Davison; Jason Moles, her grandson officiating.

Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Olamae was born in Laurel County, KY on January 25, 1939, daughter of the late William and Anna (Smith) Proffitt. She loved her children and enjoyed spending time with her family. Olamae liked taking trips to the casino.

She retired from GM, working at Plant 6 for a majority of the time. Olamae is survived by her children, Louann Fowler, Johnny (Kyle) Fowler, Danny Fowler, Joey Fowler, Penny (Steven) Staley, Mary Katherine (Greg) Brazelle, Steve Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan, Linda (Ralph) Bolin, David Sullivan and Shawn Sullivan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Nan Schulze, Lillie Williams, Mayme (Steve) Kavouras and (Ray) Naomi Proffitt. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John R. Fowler, Jr. and Gerald A. Sullivan; son, Scott Sullivan; brother, Ray Proffitt; sister, Ruby Proffitt; grandson, James Fowler; great-grandson, Garrett Cook.
