Olive “Beth” Jackson, 71 Kearney resident Olive “Beth” Jackson, 71, of Kearney died Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Mt. Carmel Home in Kearney. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday at Living Faith Fellowship in Kearney with the Rev.

Duane Osnes officiating. Interment will follow at Kearney Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at the O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney.

Services are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Beth was born November 8, 1947 in Bassett, NE to Howard and Olive (Shaw) Simms. She was raised in Arnold and graduated from Arnold High School with the class of 1966.

In 1967, Beth was united in marriage to Dwane Jackson in Denver, CO. To this union two children were blessed: Mark and Lori. She attended Kearney State College where she earned her business degree.

Beth enjoyed scrapbooking and was active in bible study. Most of all, she loved the time she spent with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dwane Jackson; son, Mark (Lynette) Jackson; daughter, Lori (Rod) Randolph; grandchildren, Abby and Emily Randolph and Max and Morgan Jackson all of Kearney; brother, Larry (Judy) Simms of Yorba Linda, CA; sisters, Paula (Leonard) Harding of North Platte and Teddea (Don) Hewitt of Bonner Springs, KS; brother-in-law, Ronald Morrison of Lincoln; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
