Olive E. Klee, age 87 passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Grandvue Medical Care Facility. Olive was born in Ovid, Michigan on January 29, 1931 the daughter of Nina Belle Brown and William Earl Brown. Olive went to nursing school and was a nurse until the age of 77.

She married Doug Klee, in Angola, Indiana. Together they had two children, Paula and Doug. Olive worked at Heritage Manor, which is a nursing home, for many years and also worked at Hurley Hospital, Briarwood Manor and many other places.

She did not retire until 2008. Olive could be found working all shifts. She loved all parts of being a nurse and liked helping people.

There are some activities Olive used to enjoy such as sewing and gardening. She still enjoy pets (especially cats and birds), reading large print, and watching the news and other shows on television. Olive felt that the cross is an important religious symbol for her.
