Guy Cole, age 62 passed away Saturday, September 29th 2018. Guy was an ambitious man from the start. A very accomplished runner for both Northville High school and Eastern Michigan, Guy set several records on the track, some taking almost 20 years to be beat.

Later in life he moved to Northern Michigan and has spent years building a vending business. Guy was also involved quite involved in the harness horse industry, owning several racehorses nationwide. Guy loved the Boyne City area and community, he called it “the best place on earth to live”.

He played Santa for various fundraisers, sponsored a ski team, and attended countless local sporting events. He was very happy, beloved man who will be missed by friends and family, near and far. A Celebration of Life reception is planned from 4-6pm on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at Boyne Mountain’s Stein Eriksen’s restaurant, located in the Clock Tower.
