Olive Mae Lane, nee Cunningham, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 in St. Louis at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 4 days. She was born October 4, 1952 in Houston, Missouri to Ed and Luvada Stephens Cunningham. On September 12, 1979 in St. Louis, she was united in marriage to Emmett Lane and to this union two daughters were born.

Olive loved to fish, enjoyed making quilt tops, gardening and working in her yard. She loved the times she babysat for her grandchildren and other family members. Olive was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emmett Lane; four brothers, William I. Cunningham, Charlie Cunningham, Joseph Cunningham and Lee Cunningham; two sisters, Dorothy Lambert and Tammy Tucker; and brothers-in-law, Johney Bolin and Joe Mitchell.

She is survived by her two daughters, Gena Vorhees and Stacy Cunningham of Steelville, MO; four brothers, Alfred Cunningham and wife Lois of Edgar Springs, MO, Harold Cunningham and wife Norma of Cuba, MO, Jimmie Rinehart and wife Susan of Foley, MO and Clarence “Chipper” Cunningham of Mt. View, MO; two sisters, Carnie Bolin of Steelville, MO and Helen Mitchell of Thayer, MO; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey White, Jr., Ryan White, Sidney White, Cody Carey, Lisa Carey, Brandon Carey, Ashley Carey and Matt Ross; eight great-grandchildren, Shannon White, Lorena White, Cotton White, Jayden White, Aaron Mayberry, Justin Taylor, William Christianson and Owen Carey; other relatives and friends. The Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Committal prayer and interment will be in the Steelville Cemetery.
