It is with great sadness that the family of Oliver Lovec announces his sudden passing on Monday February 4, 2019. Oliver was born on August 16, 1964 in Australia to Josef and Ann Lovec. Oliver was a 1982 graduate of Auburn High School.

He also graduated from Computer Electronics at GTE Sylvania Technical Institute. He had assisted his father in building a 55 foot Schooner that has crossed the Atlantic 4 times. He worked for Technology for Imaging in Massachusetts and was transferred to Florida in 1989 to the sister company Concept,Inc in Largo, FL.

He then continued a career in surgical medical equipment repairs to present. Oliver spent his days working his hardest to take care of his family, and finally he may rest peacefully and relax. He would also help anyone in need at the drop of the hat and expect nothing in return.

Almost uncommon to his hardworking self, Oliver was one of the friendliest people you can meet. He was open to talk, laugh, and enjoy his time with complete strangers. Only for them to soon become his friend.

As a common host for parties, he loved to crack jokes and enjoy a good time with friends and family. Oliver is survived by his parents, Josef and Ann Lovec, his loving wife of over 26 years, Michele (Penttila) Lovec, his sons, Michael, Matthew and Hunter and his in laws Donald and Gay Penttila. Despite his sudden passing, he did his best to prepare his family for success in this difficult time.

A Memorial Service will be held for Oliver on Thursday February 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11501 66th Avenue N. Seminole, FL. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Oliver Lovec please visit our Sympathy Store.
