Ollie Bernice Burgan June 24, 1923 – January 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ollie Bernice Burgan, age 95, of Westfield, passed away Friday morning, January 18, 2019 at Maple Park Village. Born June 24, 1923 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elihue and Maggie Mae (Crusenberry) Kirk. Ollie liked keeping her mind active by doing crossword puzzles in her free time.

She also had a love for flowers and a deep appreciation for their beauty. She was a woman of great faith. Her loving spirit kept her family at the center of her universe.

She dedicated her life to raising and taking care of her wonderful family. Survivors include: 2 sons Roger Burgan (Diane) of Carmel Danny Burgan of Westfield 2 grandchildren David Burgan Michael Burgan (Rachael) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Earl Kirk; 1 sister, Ruth Shepard; and by her husband, Bernard Eugene Burgan on December 7, 1988.

Ollie and Bernard were married in 1948. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Kercheval Funeral Home, 306 East 10th Street, Sheridan, Indiana, with Visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will follow at Crown View Cemetery.

Pastor George Cooper will be officiating.
