Obituary for Opal V. Francis Opal V. Francis, age 96, passed away September 3, 2018. Born February 20, 1922 in Crum, WV to the late Kelly and Stella Marcum. She was the last surviving child of 11 children.

Longtime member of the Ladies Aux VFW Post 3424 and American Legion Post 144. She is survived by children, Gloria (Raymond) McGee, Carolyn Thompson, Jacque (Robert) Guilliams, and Allen (Paula) Francis; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, September 7 from 5 to 8 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel 1346 S. High St. where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am.
