OBITUARY Ora E. Hubbart Sr. June 18, 1936 – September 29, 2018 Ora E. Hubbart, Sr, age 82, of East Peoria, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 7:28 a.m. at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 18, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois to Ora T. and Lucille (Riley) Hubbart. He married Mary Baker on August 2, 1958 in Peoria.

She survives along with one daughter, Anita (Ken) Campbell of Washington; three sons: Ora E. Hubbart, Jr. of East Peoria, Tim (Dana) Hubbart of Vandalia, IL, and Darrin (Angela) Hubbart of Windermere, Florida; eight grandchildren: LeAnne, Adam, Justin, Kayla, Matt, Laken, Madison, Bryce; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Lois, Gladys, Shirley, and two brothers: Earl and Robert. Ora worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 38 years retiring in 1993.

He was active in East Peoria Community Baseball where he was a former board member and past president. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Rev. David Swain will officiate. Burial will be in Lawn Ridge Cemetery in Edelstein.
