Oscar George “Rooster” Beck, 58, of Americus went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his residence in Americus. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Born October 12, 1959 in Moultrie, GA, Mr. Beck was the son of the late Bobby B. Beck and Lettie McCook Beck.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Sapp Beck of Americus; two sons, Shannon Lee Wise (Tabatha) of Americus and Joshua George Beck (Jennifer) of Americus; one daughter, Angela Dawn Patterson of Barnesville, GA; three sisters, Martha Grace Watson of Leesburg, Mary Elizabeth Chapman of Camilla, and Sheila Roenia Beck of Norman Park; one brother, Lonnie Wesley Beck of Sale City; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, September 28 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
