Obituary for Pamela Dale Pierce GREENFIELD – Pamela Dale (McPherson) Pierce, age 70, of Greenfield, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 7, 2018. She was born on May 16, 1947 in Shelbyville, IN as the daughter of Ivan Dale and Betty Lou (Brown) McPherson. She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1965.
She married Phillip Ray Pierce on August 28, 1965. Pam enjoyed crocheting, bowling, painting, cooking and making quilts. She was a devoted Christian and loved worshiping her Lord.
She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Pam is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Phillip R. Pierce; daughter, Treasure D. (Eric) Smith; grandchildren, Tiffany (Dustin) Scheele, Paige Pierce, Toby (Miranda) Smith, Phillip R. Pierce II and Joshua Pierce; great grandchildren, Eden Smith, Brayden Smith, Julian Smith and Ava Scheele; siblings, Monte McPherson, Patricia (Rick) Chrisman, Paul “Steven” (Carol) McPherson, Cinde (David) Arbuckle, Ivan “Scott” (Beth) McPherson, Bill (Barb) McPherson, Sue Ritchey and Peggy (Russell) Henzman; sister-in-law, Karen (Kenneth) Marcum; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Ray Piece; grandson, Tyler Ray Smith; sister-in-law, Connie M. Pierce; and nephew, Daniel R. Neace. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Harold Whitlock will officiate. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be made by mail to West City Church of God, 1231 Route 14 West, Benton, IL 62812 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
