Obituary for Sylvester J. Flowers GREENFIELD – Sylvester J. Flowers, age 77, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Golden Living Center. He was born on November 5, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI as the son of Sylvester Kwaikowski and Lillian (Schodeberg) Smith. He served in the Army.

He married Judith (Garrels) on August 17, 1963 in Pittsville, WI. He was the owner and mechanic of Syl’s Auto Service and was a trucker driver for various companies for many years. Sylvester was a member of the Moose Lodge for 15 years in Greenfield and the American Legion in Greenfield.

He liked woodworking and traveling. Sylvester is survived by his wife, Judith Flowers of Greenfield; children, Todd (Rebecca) Flowers of Spotsylvania, VA, Eileen (Rick) Taylor of Shirley, and Connie Flowers of Indianapolis; sister, Sharon Zellmer of Tomah, WI; seven grandchildren, Zebediah, Kasaundra, Brittany, Alexis, Carson, Rachel, and Kirby; and two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Zayden. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Rosemary Lebiecki.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st Street, Suite #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240. Friends may share a memory or a condolence at www.
