Obituary for Sheryl Sue (Bertsch) Mosier LAWRENCE – Sheryl Sue (Bertsch) Mosier, age 70, of Lawrence, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Community Hospital North. She was born on June 23, 1947 in New Castle as the daughter of Reuben and Mavis (McGrady) Bertsch. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965.

Sheryl married Richard “Dick” Mosier on September 23, 1967 in Cambridge City, IN. She was an administrative assistant for Caito Foods in Indianapolis for many years. Sheryl was a member of Curry’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

She liked knitting and loved traveling to Florida. Sheryl adored her family and enjoyed attending her grandsons’ sporting events. Sheryl is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Richard “Dick” Mosier of Lawrence, IN; daughters, Rita (Neil) Deckard of Oxford, IN and Tina Steimel of Knightstown, IN; brother, Dr. James (Norma) Bertsch of Cambridge City, IN; and three grandchildren, Nolan Deckard, Hunter Steimel, and Aiden Deckard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bonnie Carnes; and son-in-law, Bradley Steimel. A celebration of life gathering for Sheryl will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
