Obituary for George F. Waters GREENFIELD – George F. Waters, age 90, of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital. George was born on February 2, 1928 to Charles and Maude (Williams) Waters on a farm on Blue River near Mt. Summit.

He worked for Modernfold Doors in New Castle, and for Perfect Circle/Dana in Hagerstown, Richmond and Rushville as a metallurgist and Production Manager. George is survived by his daughter, Denise Phillips; grandchildren, Katie Phillips, Jason Phillips, and wife Erin O’Kelly Phillips; sister, Ethel Province; brother, John Waters, and wife Ruth; step-daughter, Jackie Thompson, and husband Randy; step-grandchildren, Michelle Watson, Christopher Watson, Laura Watson; and great-granddaughter, Mila. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Lorene and Rita.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at 2:00 p.m. at Mooreland Cemetery in New Castle.
