John Alex Cropper passed from this life in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 16, 2018 due to a recent illness. John was born in Burtonville, Kentucky on July 14, 1942, to James Alexander Cropper and Lena Wells (Rolph) Cropper. He was a United States Army veteran.

John was an avid race fan attending many races all around this great nation and a championship race team owner. He was a resident of McCordsville, Indiana for over 50 years and was the owner of Cropper Trailer Sales in Fortville. John is survived by his wife Sandra Ellen (Hinen) Cropper; four children; son Craig Alan (Janet) Cropper, daughter Lisa Dawn (Dale) Hacker, son Rodney Alex (Michelle) Cropper, and daughter Jenefier Ellen (Mike) Terry.

John was blessed with eight grandchildren Mathew, Rachel, Emily, Josh, Jeremy, Jada, Alex, and Natalie. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William Oliver Cropper. Friends may call on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Pine Valley Church in Tollesboro, KY. Burial will follow the service at Burtonville Cemetery, Burtonville, KY. Online condolences may be shared at www.
