Sylvia Irene Faucett, 87, of New Castle, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her daughter’s home. She was born July 27, 1932 in Seymour, IN. Sylvia had worked at the Indiana State Hospital in New Castle for 33 years.

She returned to school at Anderson University are received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She then worked for the Henry County Hospital and finally retired from Anthem Blue Cross – Blue Shield. Sylvia is survived by son: Richard (Candy) Faucett of Webster; daughters: Candy (Randy) Bowling of Losantville; Cindy (Kenny) Carmack of Fortville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her husband Donald in 1993; son: Robert Faucett and sister Pauline McIntire. Private family services will take place at New Lisbon Cemetery, New Lisbon, IN. Online condolences may be shared at www.
