Obituary for Corbett Neice NEW PALESTINE – Corbett Neice, age 82, of New Palestine, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born on January 22, 1936 in Whitesburg, Kentucky as the son of Earl and Polly (Roberts) Neice. Corbett married Geraldine “Jeri” (Hunt) on May 27, 2007 in Greenfield.

He worked for Roll Coater in Greenfield for over 12 years and also at Just Add Water in Indianapolis for 20 years before retiring. While living in Kentucky he was a coal miner for 17 years. Corbett was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield.

He loved collecting ties and spending time with his family. Corbett is survived by his wife, Jeri Neice of New Palestine; two step-sons, Anthony (Vikki) Tucher of New Palestine and Michael Tucher of Indianapolis; three children in Kentucky; sister-in-law, Joyce Neace of Greenfield; two step-grandchildren, Abby (Pat) Bushnell and Alix Tucher; and three step-great-grandchildren, Mason Milish, Ellie Bushnell, and Cameron Bushnell. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-daughter, Joni Tucher; sister, Nancy Hogan; three brothers, Danny Neace, Donnie Neice, and Earl Neice, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 S. State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 S. State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 or envelopes will be available at the church.
