Obituary for Harold E. “Buddy” Eaker DANVILLE – Harold E. “Buddy” Eaker, age 72, of Danville, passed away July 20, 2018. He was born on July 7, 1946 in Indianapolis, as the son of Robert Eaker and Harriett (Stone) Eaker. He worked in construction with Labor Union Local #204 in Terre Haute, IN before retiring after 30 years.

He was most recently employed as security at the Indianapolis International Airport. Harold also enjoyed going to yard sales, fishing, and listening to country music. He is survived by his daughters, Angela (Gary Neal) Crafton of Greenfield and Kimberly (James) Clark of Fortville; son, Brian (Amy) Eaker of Brownsburg; half-brother, Robert Eaker of Indianapolis; sisters, Patricia Davis of Terre Haute, and Sandra (David) Hawkins of Brazil; 11 grandchildren, Eric, Christopher, Garrett, Rachel, Meredith, Landon, Kennedy, Taylor, Megan, Brayden, and Mialiah; 8 great-grandchildren, Ryla, Kaydon, Braeden, Grayson, Kylee, Dallas, Krew, and Dylan; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Roberta Jordan, Carol Freeman, and infant Alice Eaker; half-brothers, Carl Reagan, Glenn Reagan, and Alfred Eaker; half-sisters, Greta Eaker and Betty Eaker; and great-grandson, Ryker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140, with a funeral service immediately following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
