Obituary for Pamela Didlake Brewer Pamela Didlake Brewer passed away June 29, 2018 after a long series of illnesses. She spent most of her 69 years as a teacher of Latin and English in Mississippi’s public schools including a long tenure at Brookhaven High School. In this role, she inspired students through her passion for language and a deep knowledge of how narrative, across many genres, can teach us about who we are and more importantly, who we can become.

She is survived by her husband Garry Brewer of Crystal Springs; her son John Sellers of Brandon; brother Ralph Didlake (Millie) of Madison. Memorials to this creative and dedicated educator may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Crystal Springs, where she shared her faith. Visitation will be Monday, July 2 at Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs from 9 – 10 am followed by a Graveside Service at 10am at the Crystal Springs City Cemetery.
