Pastor Timothy B. Torrie, a servant of the Lord, went home to the open arms of Jesus Sunday, July 1, 2018. Born on August 23, 1960 in Newport News, VA to Donald and Susan (Treadway) Torrie, he had been a resident of the Huntsville area for many years and worked for the University of Alabama-Huntsville as a Lab Manager in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Tim was a devout Christian and a loving son, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Torrie. Tim is survived by his mother, Susan Torrie; sister, Donna Torrie; brother, James (Shadow) Torrie; niece, Stephanie (Brent); and nephews, Alex and Donald and many dear cousins. A graveside service will be held, FRIDAY, July 6, 2018, 2PM at St. Jacob Mudbrook Cemetery in Jackson Twp.
