Obituary for Patricia Ann Larson Bodily Layton – Patricia Ann Larson Bodily, 77, returned to her heavenly home on May 25, 2018 after fighting a courageous 16-month battle with cancer. She was born March 17, 1941 in Burley, Idaho to Marva Fae and Floyd Davis Larson. She married her high school sweetheart Richard H. Boden in 1959.

During their 10-year marriage, they had two children – Babette and Richard. She later married Kenneth Bodily (separated 1971) and gained three step children, Heather, Kenny, and Kelly. Pat loved life, her family, friends, animals, gardening, fishing, hunting, skiing, riding motorcycles, and the outdoors.

She was a talented artist and created the sets for Utah’s Junior Miss pageants for many years. She owned and operated her own business “Pat’s Cleaning Service” for more than 30 years. Pat talked to everyone and made new friends wherever she went.

She was a caring, generous, loving, helpful, determined, reful, hard-working, and at times a feisty and spirited woman. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Layton 31st Ward that acted as her second family. She is survived by her two children Babette [Bambi] Darcey (David) West Point, UT, Richard James Boden (Shari) Kaysville; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 7 siblings – Lynn Larson (Linda) Orem; Evelyn Dayley (Declo, ID); Louise Martindale (Vern) North Salt Lake; Larry Larson (Phyllis) Burley, ID; Neal Larson (Delann) Paul, ID; Irene Thomas North Salt Lake , Jan Larson Melbourne, FL.

Patricia will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, many friends, and by her grandson Malachi Darcey. We would like to thank the 3rd floor nurses and staff at Davis Hospital for their compassionate care for Patricia and her family during the last few days of her life.

We would also like to thank Dr. Carl Grey’s office for helping Pat wage her war on cancer and to Legacy Home Health for providing weeks of caring service. Funeral Service – Saturday, June 2 at the Layton Creekside Stake Center, 1480 Phillips St., Kaysville, UT @ 11:00. The viewing will be held prior to the service beginning @ 9:30.
