Patricia Susan Keffer Of Chelyan West Virginia, March 20, 1957 — February 02, 2019

Patricia (Patsy) Susan Keffer 61, of Dover Delaware, formerly of Chelyan WV, passed away on February 2nd, 2019, surrounded by friends. Patsy was born in Chelyan to the late Etheral and Ruth Keffer and preceded in death by her sister Mary Ruth. Patsy is survived by cousins Jessie Cowles, Jerry Cowles and Jimmy Cowles.

Patsy was a Christian and a member of the Chelyan United Methodist Church, where she started at a young age playing the piano and organ. She was a graduate of East Bank high school where she was a member of the Pioneer marching band,and West Virginia Institute of Technology. After graduating from college, she taught a year at Oak Hill middle school.

She worked as an environmental engineer in Florida, Maryland, Tennessee and Texas and retired at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Delaware. She loved travelling to different states and attending gospel sings as well as Mt Nebo WV which was one of her favorite sings where she could camp with friends and family. A sincere and heartfelt Thanks to Julie Meadows for her wonderful care of Patsy in her last days and to Hospice Care for their wonderful assistance.

Services to be held at Pryor funeral home in East Bank WV, on Tuesday February the 5th with Visitation beginning at 1pm and funeral service at 2pm with Rev Bo Terrell and John Massey officiating and burial to follow at London Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Memory of Patsy to the American Cancer Society at 301 RHL Blvd. No.
