Richardson Patrick Gregor Richardson died last week from Esophageal Cancer. He was 58 years old. Born in Renton, Pat grew up in Kent, graduating from Kent Meridian High School.

He later moved with his family to the Stanwood Camano community. Pat worked in the Building and Construction trade. He acted as Developer/ Owner and Project Manager for several of Stanwood’s historic west end remodels and new construction endeavors.

He was involved with different charitable building projects, including the Stanwood Camano Preschool and the new Community Re center. An Everyman, with a big grin and a can-do attitude, Pat loved to come up with creative fixes for many of Stanwood’s old historic west end buildings. On the job site, he treated those he worked with and supervised with care and respect.

Pat was a past board member of the Twin City Sportsman Club, the Stanwood Camano Food Bank, Twin City Idlers car club, and the Community Re Center. For over ten years he enjoyed assisting with the Annual Stanwood Camano Soap Box Derby. A Memorial, Celebration of Life gathering will be held in Pat’s honor, at the Stanwood Historic Society’s building, “The Floyd”, February 16, at 2:00 pm, with a light buffet following.

Pat is proceeded in death by his father, Bill and his brother, Billy. He is survived by his mother, Maureen, wife Carrie, son Michael, brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Jodi. In addition, Pat is also survived by his Aunts and Uncle, nieces and nephews, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws.

Donations in Pat’s memory, are graciously suggested to be sent to the Stanwood Camano Food Bank or Stanwood’s Community Re Center.
