Patrick Jewel Cocherl Sr. 87, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on December 15, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, December 19 at 9:00 am at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Immediately following will be a graveside service.

Patrick was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 60 years, Dolores, the love of his life, his youngest son Michael, both parents, and nine of his eleven siblings. Survivors include a son, Patrick J Cocherl Jr, and wife Kathy; two daughters: Deborah Lunn, and husband Jim, and Terry Cocherl. Patrick was a devoted patriarch to his eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Harris, and husband Jim, Shawn Cocherl, Jamie Overton and husband Jason, Jessica Meade, and husband Justin, Scott Lunn, and wife Lydia, Trisha Rains, and husband Troy, Ryan Cocherl, and wife Audra, Candy Pitman, and husband Alan, Brandy Willis, and husband Brad, Kristen Tarpy, and husband Dave, and Patrick J Cocherl lll, and wife Annie.

He also leaves behind his great grandchildren, Caeden, Rider, Jack, Caroline, Michael, Henry, Harry, Jane, Lucy, George, Patrick J Cocherl lV, Chase, Brock, Lane, Kaylee, Rylee, Jolee, Cutter, Jade, Diesel, Steele, Cooper, Payton, Briar, Brixton, Brindyl, and Hayden. Patrick’s priority was his family. Every part of his life included them.

He will be remembered as the “rock” and the “glue” that continually held his family close together. He was a patriot and a teacher of life lessons. His LEGACY will live on through his family.
