Obituary for Mr. Patrick K. Mullins Mr. Patrick K. Mullins, currently residing at the E.L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam, NY, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2018. Patrick was born in Carrick on Suir, Tipperary, Ireland on September, 13, 1935, son of James and Ellen Doherty Mullins. Patrick was raised in Ireland and was enlisted into the English Army, Irish Sector.

He then spent 55 years in Manhattan, NY, 40 of them employed by Local 32B, as a Door Man for Douglas Elliman houses, which he retired from in 1999. He was of the Catholic Faith and was faithful to his church, most recently attending Church of the Holy Spirit in Gloversville. He enjoyed walking every day and helping with the senior citizens.

Survivors include, son, Patrick (Desaree) Casterlin of Toms River, New Jersey and daughter, Deborah Phillips of Gloversville; grandchildren, Dana Marr of Baltimore, MD, Brittany (Daniel) Reece of Burleson, TX, Adrienne Phillips and Andrew Caldara of Gloversville, Elizabeth Casterlin, Patrick Casterlin and Courtney Casterlin of Toms River, NJ and Samantha Casterlin of Bolivia, NC. ; great grandchildren, Alyssa Marr-Gavin, Michael Marr, Karen Marr of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Carmel Jakubovitz of Port St. Lucie, FL and Margaret (Alfred) Pluss and Ita Want both of London, England, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Mary Francis Condor and brother, John Mullins.

A mass of Christian Burial and interment will take place in the Spring, an announcement will be made at that time. Arrangements are in the care of Gloversville Funeral Service, 4 Second Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patrick’s memory to the Community Hospice of Amsterdam, 246 Manny’s Corners Rd Amsterdam, NY 12010, Flame the Band c/o Lexington Center, 127 East State St., Gloversville, NY 12078 or to J&R Kennel, 318 Beckerville Road, Manchester NJ 08759.
