Obituary for Patsy “Ma” Garcia (Brown) Patsy Ann “Ma” Garcia, 79, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at The Bay at Water’s Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in South Bend, IN, on June 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Don “Doc” and Florence (Wiltrout) Brown. She was educated in the schools of South Bend and moved to Kenosha in 1958.

On May 10, 1958, she married Daniel L. “Big Dan” Garcia at Bethany Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2007. Patsy worked for Pick ‘n Save and then Six Flags Great America.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, cleaning and listening to music. She was also a huge fan of Betty Boop and “I Love Lucy”. Survivors include her four sons, Cornelius (Pamela) Garcia, William (Elizabeth Dodson) Garcia, Daniel A. (Sue) Garcia, and Richie (Michelle) Garcia, all of Kenosha; two brothers, Frederick “Butch” Brown of Edwardsburg, MI, and David (Karen Romero) Rodriguez of Portland, OR; two sisters, Marilyn Brown of South Bend, IN, and Sharon Yates of Mishawaka, IN; ten grandchildren, Michael, Sierra, Adriana, Richard II, Michael S., Vincent, Thomas, John, Chad, and Haley; and two great-grandchildren, Dream and Alex.
