She was born September 6, 1964, in Jefferson County. Patsy fought a great fight with Muscular Dystrophy. She was employed by Dr. Joy, DDS, as a dental assistant.

She was preceded in death by her father: Robert Bracken Puckett, Jr., a brother: Robert Bracken Puckett III and her birth mother: Patsy Elizabeth Walker Varner.
